Schur has a market leader position in the field of primary packaging for Roll-Your-Own and Pipe tobacco. Production and sales are concentrated at Schur Flexible Benelux BV in Leek, the Netherlands.

Schur Flexible Benelux BV produces the traditional PE paper insert pouch, printed PE and laminate pouches on reel and the new and innovative Schur^®Seal pouch, which is a sealable pouch with excellent barrier properties.

A sealed pouch with barrier properties guarantees the tobacco producer and the consumer that the tobacco remains fresh until opening. Film on reel is supplied as flexo- or gravure printed film and laminates with a maximum of 11 colours. Film on reel can also be supplied as sealable material.

If one adds all the above to the close working relationship between Schur Flexible Benelux, Schur Pack (paper labels) and Schur Packaging Systems (machinery for sealing and packing of tobacco), this results in a strong basis to answer customer questions related to Roll-Your-Own and Pipe tobacco packaging.
